Feeding Ourselves and Others welcomes the involvement of the broader community in the project. This can be done in many ways.
For example, you can help us by:
volunteering to work in the garden
purchasing our vegetables at
The Local General Store
and our other markets as posted during the growing season
contributing to activities undertaken as part of the project (e.g., providing workshops, taking photographs of the garden, assisting with public relations materials)
contributing tools, seedlings, or other materials necessary to make the garden successful
working in partnership with the project (e.g., taking apprentice gardeners; providing additional markets for the produce)
For more information or to get involved please contact:
"It [the garden] has drawn participants out, causing them to have more
confidence in their ability to do new things and to feel themselves
to be part of a useful community."
